SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management, a two-day interactive course, provides tools for Strategy and Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations, and Lean Governance implementation.

The SAFe Lean Portfolio Management certification training suits executives, leaders, and Agile change agents involved in strategic decisions and investment funding. Ideal for those navigating portfolio strategies and implementing Lean-Agile principles at an enterprise level, this program is designed for leaders aiming to enhance portfolio strategy, governance, and drive business agility through improved decision-making and value delivery. It is suitable for senior project / program managers or senior leaders / executives managing a diverse transformation portfolio

Exam Details

  • Exam name: SAFe® 6.0 Lean Portfolio Management Exam

  • Exam format: Multiple choice; Multiple select

  • Exam delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed

  • Exam access: Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the SAFe 6 Lean Portfolio Management course

  • Exam duration: Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam

  • Number of questions – 45

  • Passing score – 35 out of 45 (77%)

  • Language – English

  • Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.

  • Retake policy – Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. The fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.

SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management certification training gives you the following:

  • Login to the SAFe Community Portal where you can learn about the agile fundamentals and SAFe principles before the training.

  • Courseware page in the online portal from where you can access and download the digital workbook and all the content including templates, toolkit and videos about Lean Portfolio Manager role that will be taught in the class.

  • SAFe Lean Portfolio Management Training – Two full days of instructor led interactive training using collaborative tools and fun games with enough break for fresh air and lunch.

  • Access to web portal to take a practice test which gives you the same experience as taking the actual exam. This practice test can be taken multiple times and the results will be shown to you.

  • Access to the certification exam, which can be taken from home using the same community portal that you used for the practice test.

  • An additional one hour’s support from our trainers post training to check how prepared you are for your certification exam and give you exam tips and additional practice test questions on demand.

  • On passing the exam you will get SAFe Lean Portfolio Management Certification and a digital badge.

  • One year membership of the SAFe community portal which hosts media library and lots of tools and templates to help Lean Portfolio Managers in their daily job.

  • You will also get 16 PDUs and SEUs from Scaled Agile

  • In these two days we will be focused on active learning. Active learning is an approach in which all learners are engaged in the learning process. This means that learners are encouraged to engage with the material, to participate in the activities, and to collaborate with each other. Active learning stands in contrast to traditional models in which learners are passive recipients of knowledge from an expert. We do not expect learners in class to listen and memorize. Instead, we help them demonstrate their understanding, and ask them how they would apply the new knowledge.
