An enterprise thrives on effective teams for scaling value. The Scrum Master, a mentor, guides Agile teams in mastering SAFe principles, skillfully removing bottlenecks to enable productive work. This two-day SAFe Scrum Master course equips you to mentor teams in a SAFe Enterprise. It covers Scaled Agile Framework basics, leading ceremonies, executing Program Increments, and establishing flow using DevOps.

 

Attendees gain insights into the Scrum Master role in a SAFe enterprise, unlike traditional Scrum Master training. This course delves into enterprise-level Scrum Mastery, preparing individuals to plan and execute Program Increments, fostering alignment at all organizational levels. It encompasses Agile at scale development, enterprise-wide Scrum facilitation, and Iteration Planning execution.

Exam Details

  • Exam name – SAFe® Scrum Master Exam (SSM) 6.0

  • Exam format – Multiple choice; Multiple select

  • Exam delivery – Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed

  • Exam access – Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the SAFe® Scrum Master course

  • Exam duration – Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam

  • Number of questions – 45

  • Passing score- 73%

  • Language – English

  • Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake or attempt post 30 days costs $50.

  • Retake policy – Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait

What Participants will get from this Course

SAFe® Scrum Master certification training gives you the following:

  • Login to the SAFe Community Portal where you can learn about the agile fundamentals and SAFe principles before the training.

  • Courseware page in the online portal from where you can access and download the digital workbook and all the content including templates, toolkit and videos about Scrum Master role that will be taught in the class.

  • SAFe Scrum Master Training – Two full days of instructor led interactive training using collaborative tools and fun games with enough break for fresh air and lunch.

  • Parking lot where you can note all your questions related to personal scenarios which you wish to get consultation. These will be covered at the end of the training.

  • Access to web portal to take a practice test which gives you the same experience as taking the actual exam. This practice test can be taken multiple times and the results will be shown to you.

  • Access to the certification exam, which can be taken from home using the same community portal that you used for the practice test.

  • On passing the exam you will get SAFe Scrum Master Certification and a digital badge.

  • One year membership of the SAFe community portal which hosts media library and lots of tools and templates to help Scrum Masters in their daily job.

  • You will also get 16 PDUs from PMI and 16 SEUs from Scaled Agile

  • In these two days we will be focused on active learning. Active learning is an approach in which all learners are engaged in the learning process. This means that learners are encouraged to engage with the material, to participate in the activities, and to collaborate with each other. Active learning stands in contrast to traditional models in which learners are passive recipients of knowledge from an expert. We do not expect learners in class to listen and memorize. Instead, we help them demonstrate their understanding, and ask them how they would apply the new knowledge
